Scott trained at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama before which he attended Kirkham Henry Performing Arts.

Scott is also the co-creator of The Barricade Boys which has toured internationally including a residency in London's West End, a UK tour, an appearance on Broadway and a US tour scheduled for April 2019. Scott owns Sisco Entertainment Ltd, with business partner Simon Schofield.
